Punjab E-Bike Balloting on Oct 10: Check Your Ballot Result by CNIC
📢 Update (12 Oct 2026): The balloting was held on 10 Oct 2026. Latest reports (24NewsHD) confirm over 1.3 million youth registered — 607,399 applied online (292,863 male, 314,445 female) for 100,000 e-bikes. Distribution is expected to start in early November 2026. Check your result by CNIC on the official portal (bikes.punjab.gov.pk).
The e-bike balloting is finally here — over 1.1 million students applied, but there are only 100,000 e-bikes. On 10 October 2026, the computerized ballot decides who gets a bike and who has to wait.
This wait is the hardest part: rumors, fake “sifarish” claims, and confusion about checking the result. Take a breath. This guide has everything clearly laid out — how the balloting works, how to check your result by CNIC, what to do after selection, and your options if you are not selected. (For the complete Phase 2 background — financing, monthly installments and delivery — see our E-Bike Scheme Distribution guide.)

How the Computerized Ballot Works
Wherever applications exceed the quota, PITB conducts a computerized, random e-ballot — fully digital, with no human interference. No agent, no sifarish, no money can influence it.
Beware of Fraud
If anyone claims they can “add your name for money,” it is fraud — report it immediately. The ballot is 100% computerized and no one can manipulate the outcome.
How to Check Your Ballot Result by CNIC
Once balloting is complete, check your result in minutes:
- Open the official portal: bikes.punjab.gov.pk
- Click “Check Ballot Result”
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC without dashes
- Your result appears instantly: Selected / Not Selected / Waiting List
- Selected candidates also receive an SMS on their registered mobile number

After Selection — What Happens Next
Selected? Congratulations — but the bike is not in your hands yet. Three steps remain before delivery. (The full delivery and installment schedule is covered in our E-Bike Scheme Distribution guide.)
Step 1 — Bank of Punjab Verification
Your CNIC, documents, guarantor’s income and credit history (ECIB) are verified again. The guarantor’s total monthly debt — including the bike installment — must not exceed 40% of net monthly income.
Step 2 — Approval Notification
On final approval you are informed via SMS and email. Keep your registered mobile number active — this is the only channel used.
Step 3 — Bike Collection
Collect your bike from the authorized dealer — delivery typically happens within 2–4 weeks of final approval.
Not Selected? Don’t Worry
The Waiting List Is Not a Rejection
A waiting-list position is a reserve slot, not a rejection. If any selected candidate fails verification or withdraws, waiting-list candidates are called in serial-number order.
Keep Your Mobile Active
Waiting-list offers arrive by SMS and the response window is short. A switched-off number can cost you the bike.
Next Phase
Verified applications are generally carried into the next phase’s balloting automatically — no need to apply again. Watch the latest announcements for Phase 3 news.
